The Brutalist Report

Brutalist Report is my favorite place to get news from. There are no images, and the website is brutalist which means it loads insanely quick. Looks great on mobile too! The index includes a collection of headlines from several different sources, and it constantly updated. I learn everything I need to right from here! It’s not perfect though, some of the websites link to a paywall

Ground News

Ground News, co-founded in 2018 by a former NASA engineer and based in Ontario, Canada, is a great way to stay informed because aggregates coverage of the same story from global outlets across diverse political viewpoints, labeling source biases so users can see how reporting differs and break out of echo chambers. It also highlights blind spots—stories underreported by certain outlets—and offers premium features like ad-free browsing and deeper coverage breakdowns.

Lots of diagrams, just check it out if you have time for a long read and want to get technical

Wiby.me

Wiby.me is an interesting place to revisit some of the old classics of the internet, back when things weren’t about grabbing likes on social media or scrolling through news feeds. My favorite part is the surprise me, which takes you somewhere random. Here are a few gems I’ve found while doing that:

Gwern.net

Gwern.net is a website similar to mine, but far more developed. He writes about a variety of topics revolving around about AI, psychology, & statistics.
